By submitting this application you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below and are aware of your entitlements and obligations as a volunteer at the festival.

Age

You must be 18 years or over to be considered for a Volunteer position with the exception of the Site Dressing and Street Cleaning Roles which have an age restriction of 15 years and over.

Email Access

All volunteers must sign up on the staff registration system and must have access to a current and usable email address as all applications and correspondence will occur via email.

Safety

You must attend a Volunteer Induction Training Session and comply with all safety requirements detailed at this session associated with your Volunteer position. 

Shifts

You must complete all shift requirements as stipulated by the Volunteer role you have signed up for. Your chosen role is not guaranteed. Should we need to reallocate your volunteering role to a different area of the festival we will ensure that it is similar in nature to the one you have chosen. 

Cancellations/Alterations

If you are unable to do a shift due to illness, injury or family emergency, please contact Volunteer Admin immediately by emailing volunteers@oxtedbeerfestival.com. This is an application system only and your chosen shifts and roles are not always guaranteed. The organisers of the festival do reserve the right to refuse your application or to request that you transfer to a different area of the festival should this be necessary, in which case we would notify you prior to the 25th May 2017.

Staff Tops

You agree not to wear your staff top to or at the festival when not working. Any volunteer wearing a staff top will be considered to be available to work.

Confidentiality

All information and processes associated with your volunteer position are to be considered as confidential

Ticket Entry

Your volunteer wristband allows only you to enter the festival. It does not entitle members of your family or associates to enter on your wristband. Tickets need to be purchased through normal channels for all members of your group who are not volunteers. Please check the Oxted Beer and Music Festival website for ticket information and availability.

Attitude

Please bring with you a positive attitude, act with courtesy and in an orderly manner at all times.
