Confirming your place

Your entry into the event is only confirmed once you have received a confirmation email. If you have not received your email within 24 hours please email us at:

Date of the event

Great Scottish Events reserves the right to change the exact date of the event up to 6 months before it takes place. If advised to do so by local authorities, Police Scotland or the venues being used. No refunds or compensation will be paid in these circumstances.

Children

Entering under 16 year olds – an adult must accompany any entrant aged under 16 for the duration of the event.

Medical information and liability

Each entrant is responsible for their own medical condition and the liabilities pertaining to their dog. If you are in doubt about your ability to take part in the event or if you have any medical condition, consult your doctor prior to commencing any exercise programme. None of the Great Scottish Events staff and volunteers, the charities benefitting from the event, nor the event sponsors accept any liability for the health of the entrant or the entrants dog.

Sponsorship money raised

Entrants and all those associated with taking part in our events are not permitted to spend any of the sponsor money raised in relation to the event to pay for their expenses. If 100% of the money raised is not passed on to the chosen charity, you may be committing a criminal offence. Failure to submit all money raised for the event to the chosen charity may result in Great Scottish Events refusing entry to any future events. If you have chosen an official charity place from the website you are not permitted to pass any of the money raised to other charities.

Liability

Neither Great Scottish Events, the charities benefitting from the event nor the event sponsors have any liability in relation to the event. Save for death or personal injury caused by Great Scottish Events's negligence the organisations exclude any liability for any loss, damage, injury or consequential loss suffered by any entrant personally or to their property as a result of their entry to or participation in the event.

Data protection

Great Scottish Events will process your personal data in accordance with your preferences made within this registration process.

Images

Great Scottish Events retains the right to use any images taken at our events for use in future marketing materials.
