Who are the teachers?

Alfa Marks discovered the circus after graduating in contemporary dance from the London Studio Centre in 2010, pursuing her passion for aerial performance first as an apprentice with Gerry Cottle’s Circus and then as a solo aerial rope artist. She has performed in theatre shows and festivals across the UK and abroad, for companies including Cirque Bijou, Upswing, Gravity and Levity and Incandecence - joining the cast of FLOWN in summer of 2016 for the company's homecoming at Glastonbury festival. Alfa is an accomplished aerial teacher (she taught an advanced rope masterclass at the European Aerial Dance Festival in the  Summer of 2016) and regularly teaches in Brighton.

Jack Rees is a Somerset born physical performer. Growing up he rollerbladed religiously and watched birds passionately. His love of performing came from an early age and has lead on through a road passing pantomime, dance, acting and pulling over at circus. He Graduated from Circomedia Bristol in 2011, working with international companies including Arcadia and The Invisible Circus. He joined FLOWN in 2015. Jack teaches intermediate and advanced corde lisse and hat manipulation.
