Mums really matter to us at the Bakehouse.  Why not treat yours to a very special afternoon tea. 

Our celebratory Mother's Day Afternoon tea menu consists of:

• Selection of finger sandwiches on freshly baked artisan bread

  • Cream cheese and cucumber
  • Finest Scottish smoked salmon and horseradish
  • Gammon ham and English mustard
  • Free range eggs and cress

• A warm plain Bakehouse scone served with clotted cream and jam

• Macarons, white chocolate mousse with a fruit compote, lemon tart garnished with a fresh raspberry, mini carrot cake with a lime mascarpone icing and chocolate truffles

• Kandula tea selection and Volcano coffee

Afternoon tea £22 per person/Afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco or a Raspberry Bellini £27 per person

For children (aged 12 and under) £11 per person

• Ham and cheese finger sandwiches

• Warm plain Bakehouse scones with jam and cream

• Chocolate brownie and jammie dodgers

• Fruit juice to drink

Because we want to make your day extra special, all the ladies in the Bakehouse - Mums, Grannies, Aunties and Sisters will be given a small gift from us - a fresh herb plant from our garden.

The Bakehouse at 124 prides itself in producing the finest quality baked goods which are made in small batches on our own premises and with (where possible) locally sourced ingredients.
