The last Afternoon Tea event at The Yard with George sold out as soon as tickets went on sale so ......... we're doing it again :) 

George Borowski​ and his lovely daughter Vienna (aka Mora) will be performing with special guests for a Sunday afternoon tea at The Yard. Whilst George is well known as being Guitar George from the Dire Straits song 'The Sultans of Swing' (Despite his protestations to the contrary) Mora only started singing professionally in the last few years. They make a wonderful duo and you can see how much they enjoy performing together! 

About George: Over the years George's association with an ever-growing list of artistes as diverse as Pixies, Meatloaf, Sad Cafe, The Water Boys, Teenage Fanclub, Bonnie Rait, Radiohead, Van Morrison, 10cc, Neil Young, Happy Mondays the list goes on, has earned him the highest level of respect from those on the 'inside' whilst also being able to reach and appeal to those on the 'outside' with his rarefied combination of presence, performance and beautifully crafted words of art. Music with a message for all, delivered with a passion - George's songwriting winds it's way through pop, rock, country, blue suede tunes in true rock 'n roll style, socially aware masterpieces with haunting lyrics and those lump-in-the-throat power ballads which carry that definitive GB stamp.
