Come and Sing Mozart's Requiem
Sunday, 20th August 2017
– Doors open at 1:00pm
St Stephen's Church
Spend an enjoyable afternoon exploring Mozart's final masterpiece with conductor Damian Penfold (English Symphony Orchestra, Opera National du Rhin, Nairobi Orchestra and Music Society).
The rehearsal and informal concert will be taking place in Higham's very special George Gilbert Scott parish church, and light refreshments will be provided in the village's 17th century thatched barn.
This event is intended for regular and infrequent singers alike! All that is required is a willingness to take part and enjoy singing.
Proceeds are going towards the church restoration and Our Special Friends.
Our Special Friends is a registered charity that helps people continue to benefit from animal companionship by providing practical and emotional support during illness, bereavement or other crises.
