Refunds
Academy. We will offer a full refund in an exceptional case, for example, a severe illness or broken bone accompanied by a Doctor’s note.  If you decide not to attend an academy session, due to personal reasons we are unable to offer a refund.
Camps. If your child becomes ill during camp week with a cold or a ‘sickness bug’ we can offer you a part refund for the days they haven’t attended if 24 hours before the day missed is given, so we can offer your space to the next person on our waiting list. Part of the £25 fee per day is a £15 non-refundable deposit. If your child does not make it into camp for sickness reasons and you have given us 24 hours notice we can reimburse you for the days they have missed minus the deposit; £10 per day. Should you chose to carry this forward to the following term, that is fine. There is a 6 month limit on this. For example – if your child missed 2 days off camp that were paid for in October 2012 and the next class you attend is October 2013, you can not expect the refund to carry forward, as it will have run past it’s date.
If you wish for a refund to be paid back into your account, this is also acceptable.
School places in the school classes will only be secured with a full payment for the term. If your child becomes ill or injured and cannot continue with the remainder of the term, we will offer a refund. However, if your child no longer enjoys the class or because personal circumstances no longer make it possible for your child to attend, we are sorry that we are unable to offer a refund. We would be happy to offer other related DK activities, such as Camp days, future school classes next term or complimentary merchandise.

Make Up Sessions
If you are unable to make your weekly class, due to a personal reason, we will try to accommodate you by offering a make-up session in the same class on another day. If the classes on other days are full, unfortunately your child will have to miss gymnastics that week and we are unable to offer a refund.
Schools. If we have more than one after school club for a given age group, you may be able to swap your child for the day providing there is space. Please see the teacher who takes the Club.

Trial sessions.
Academy. If you wish to join our club we offer a *free trial session. Your child can join in for the full class, and at the end of that class, we ask that you make a decision whether you would like to keep that space in the class. If you decide with your child that you would like to continue with DK Gymnastics and keep the space – that class becomes included in the price for the full term.
If you decide with your child after the trial session that DK Gymnastics is not the place for your child, then you are not obliged to pay anything for the session and we will give your space to the next person on the waiting list.
School. We do not offer a trial session for the after school clubs. These are always in high demand and the full term must be paid for upfront to secure your child’s space please.

Payments
Academy. Payments must be made in full for the term, before classes commence. If you join up mid-way through a term, you have a trial session to decide if you would like to join and by the next week, payment should be made for that trial session and the remainder of the term.
Schools. Each school operate their Club’s Policies differently. In most cases, we would request the payment for the full term upfront, before or on the first lesson. However, in some schools you have to go through the school booking process to book onto our club. If this is the case, we will hand out our letter on the first lesson and ask for payment on or by the second lesson please.
Camps. Payments for camps must be made in full prior to the camp. If you book within a certain weeks notice (specified on each camp form) your will receive the Friday free. If it is your first time at camp and you only want to pay for 1 day, in order to see if your child enjoys it, please do not expect there will necessarily be spaces on the following days. When you book in advance, you secure your child’s place.

British Gymnastics Membership
All children that attend the DK Gymnastics Academy MUST have British Gymnastics membership; this insures your child, in the event of an accident occurring.  You may have 2 sessions without insurance but by the 3rd session they MUST be insured. The BG Membership years runs 1st October – 30th September. Payment for this can be made through our club and the basic membership is £22.00. This covers your child for the full year.

Pick Up Authorisation
You must supply us with names of authorised persons who can collect your children.

No jeans, no buttons, no earrings, no zips & no hoods to gym classes as failure to comply invalidates your paid British Gymnastics Annual Membership.
