What you need to know

This practical ritual involves the simple technique of imbuing paper with colour and meaning using plant life, rust and intention-setting.

We will talk about sustainable harvesting, plant species and mordant options. This process can be used (with an additional step) to dye fabric, which will also be discussed. Participants will take home a landscape image which can be displayed as an artwork, or developed further into a sculpture, card or book. Resources will be provided so further explorations can be done at home or shared with friends.

About the facilitator:
Hey, I'm Lucian. I use creativity - art making, words, music and movement - to bring moments of presence and joy into my life. I'm drawn to co-creating shared experiences using natural and biodegradable ingredients.

Tickets: $40
Concession: $35
