What you need to know
Come and learn how to make your own book! PepperTree Place will be running a workshop which will teach you how to book bind using recycled materials and plant fibers. You will learn traditional binding techniques, how to prepare your paper, and make your own unique book covers.
Cost: $35 - This includes materials and your own book to take home.
Facillitator: Rowan is a Melbourne based textile artist and craftess who has studied at RMIT. She has worked at ArtPlay running art workshops for children doing weaving, book making, story telling and sculpture workshops. With a growing interest in bookbinding and making techniques she hopes to share her skills whilst supporting the creative process.
