America One Year Later: American Jewry at the Beginning of the 21st Century

With Rabbi Daniella Kolodny and special guests

Mondays 30th October, 6th, 13th and 20th November

At 8.00pm

At the beginning of the 21st century what is the character of the American Jewish community? With the shrinkage of the Conservative movement, the breakdown of the Kotel agreement, the 2008 financial crisis and the reaction to the 2016 Presidential election American Jewry is facing disruption and change. Over the course of four sessions, we will examine changing American Jewish identities, American Jewish institutions, Conservative Judaism and Jews' relationships to the U.S. and Israel.
