Confidence is one of the key factors underpinning high performance; it provides you with a strong foundation for getting the best out of yourself, for dealing with pressure and for bouncing back strong from adversity. Fortunately confidence isn’t something that you either have or do not have, it can be worked on and developed. In this inspirational and interactive workshop you will discover key sources of confidence and how you can systematically build a robust confidence. Performance coach and former World Champion and Olympian, Anna Hemmings will share her own experiences from the elite world of sport and the techniques she used to build her confidence to perform optimally in the most challenging of environments.
During this workshop you will:
· Understand the importance of confidence to motivation and maximum performance
· Identify different sources of confidence and how we can utilize them
· Learn strategies for enhancing or regaining confidence when it is fragile
· Discover your signature strengths and use them to enhance confidence
Beyond the Barriers Director Anna Hemmings MBE
Anna is a performance coach, workshop facilitator and motivational speaker, however she is best known as Britain’s most successful ever female kayaker, a two time Olympian and 6 times World Champion. Anna is adept at translating the lessons that she learned in sport into the business world to help individuals and teams perform at their best. Her areas of specialism include, high performance, resilience and energy management.
Anna graduated from Royal Holloway College, University of London with a BSC Honours degree in Economics and Management. She also has qualifications in performance psychology and biofeedback, giving her the skills and knowledge to deliver innovative solutions for managing stress and anxiety and improve performance using cutting edge technology.
