Join me on a trip to Turkey, where we can explore Ottoman
cuisine, which includes elements of the Middle East, Balkan, and Greece!
Diverse and very tasty, this evening will delight your senses!
We will explore typical Turkish dishes such as Köfte
(delicious meatballs), Börek (savory pastries), Pide (a version of
Turkish pizza), Dolma (meat and grain stuffed vegetables or grape
leaves), İmam Bayıldı (baked eggplant) Baklava, and other delights. The
menu will be created and shared prior to the event!
The established menu will be assembled and and cooked at work stations I will have set up around my house. Depending on your skill and comfort level, you can choose easy or intricate preparations - usually in tandem with another person!
Once our meal is prepared, we sit and dine in style!
Typically, people will bring wine. I will research what beverages compliment the dishes we make and send out an email prior to the event. In Turkey you can also enjoy incredibly strong tea and coffee!
