The Canada China Club, CCC, has partnered with OPN to the THero Competition, an International competition for Canadian companies to present their innovative business to leading Industry experts. The THero Competition is an International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition from the series of events will be held at the IBM ventureLAB Convergence Centre to review Pitches from companies with the winners representing Canada in the Competition in Guangzhou, China. The companies entering in the competition will be businesses that have the potential to extend their business into the exciting Chinese marketplace. The three selected Canadian winners will be competing with other global winners from different cities in the city of Guangzhou, China. Travel expenses, including international airfare, local transportation, hotel accommodation and meals will be sponsored by the Canada China Club.

This experience will not only allow companies to gain insight on doing business in China, but extend their global reach and potentially lead to international investment. There are a series of prizes both cash and services and participating companies will have a valuable opportunity to establish unique international partnerships.
The event being held on September 18th from 10am to 2pm at the ventureLAB located at the IBM facility at 3600 Steeles Ave in Markham, Ontario. The event will be attended by Canadian Federal, Provincial, and Municipal officials along with representatives from the People’s Government of Tianhe District, Guangzhou, an Officer from the Consulate-General Of The People’s Republic of China in Toronto, local Investors and various Media.
