Cupcake Masterclass

I'm Liz and I home bake and hand decorate every one of Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes' delicious cupcakes, giant cupcakes and afternoon teas.

I offer a huge range of traditional and unusual flavour combinations including Madagascan Vanilla, Sticky Peanut Butter and Red Velvet. I even create cocktail inspired mini cupcakes like Strawberry Daiquiri.

I only ever use free range eggs and source local, British and Fairtrade ingredients wherever possible. 

I have been running cupcake decorating classes in Eccleshall since February 2012. These small classes provide a lovely fun and relaxed atmosphere where you will learn to create beautiful sugarpaste models and fabulous piping techniques to make your cakes stand out at home.

I have also written a cupcake recipe book : Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes by Liz Berwick, available from Amazon, online with your booking, or at my classes .

CUPCAKE DECORATING

Do you share our love of all things cupcake? Why not join us for a fun session learning how to turn your home-baked treats into wonderful works of art. During the two and a half-hour workshop, you'll be provided with everything you need to learn how to create cupcakes to impress!

Liz, who bakes and hand-decorates all of our cupcakes, will let you into her baking secrets and you get to take home a beautiful box of a dozen cupcakes that you have created.

What to expect: ◦You'll be provided with all the equipment to make a cupcake bouquet to impress ◦You will be given a generous dozen 'naked' Simply Scrumptious cupcakes ready for you to dress up ◦Liz will demonstrate the secrets to making perfectly light and fluffy buttercream icing everytime ◦ Learn to colour and pipe buttercream to make the classic swirl and rose ◦Tea, coffee and delicious home-baked treats will be provided  ◦Our classes are intentionally kept small (10 maximum) so that you get full attention from Liz throughout

Price: £45 per person for a 2-2.5 hour workshop This includes tea and home-baked treats

SUGARPASTE MODELLING

Do you already bake but have always wanted to create lovely little characters to top your cakes?
Have you attended my cupcake decorating workshop and want to learn more?
Why not join us for a  friendly and fun morning on our three and a half hour workshop?
Liz, who bakes all of our cupcakes will teach you how to create figures.
Using sugar and modelling paste, you will learn basic character modelling techniques and create a selection of fun little animal and human models to top your cakes. 
Price: £55 per person for a 3-3.5 hour workshop.
