What you need to know
A
spectacular new open invitation indoor rowing event, where male, female
and mixed crews compete as a pair in a head to head fast and furious
race over 10 and 3 minute max distance races.
This event is a new, dynamic, non profit event, hosted in Loughborough, the home of all things UK sport. All proceeds from this event will be donated to our charitable partner, The Brownlee Foundation, to help them in their work to provide children all over the UK with a positive sporting experience and offer support to the development of coaches and teachers in sport.

During the competition crew members row on separate rowing machines at the same time for the set time of either 10 or 3 minutes.The machines are linked to allow the race software to produce a 500m split pace for each rower, while the individual splits are then compiled in real time into one average split for the entire crew. Competitors’ progress is then displayed on big screens for all to see so spectators can cheer on crews and offer words of encouragement.
Spaces are limited to a maximum of 15 crews per race category.
A unique test of fitness and teamwork, entry is open to all ages and abilities, with combined weight categories allowing for greater flexibility. All participants will automatically be entered into the WINGMAN raffle and have the opportunity to win a selection of exclusive prizes which will be drawn at the end of the days racing.
This event will run according to the British Rowing Rules of Racing which include promoting clean sport. All competitors who enter could be subject to testing at this event, and therefore it is important that you take the time to familiarise yourself with your rights and responsibilities.
