The Safety Awareness Week (SAW) is an annual event devoted to research safety with the aim of promoting a more positive mindset towards safe laboratory practices. SAW opens with a reception that includes an introduction by RSSI, speeches from invited speakers (VP for research, Chemistry Department Chair, Industrial representatives) as well as a discussion panel on research safety.
