Can God be Trusted?

With Dimitrina (Didi) Oprenova

There will be music from Amy Oprenova, Dimitrina’s daughter, who is the lead singer with the talented band Coco ‘n’ the Fellas

The world we live in has never been more consumer oriented, it is all about our wants; being in control, receiving everything we desire, and last but not least, instantly. Trust in that very world is a very fragile thing. It takes a long time and hard work to build it up, sometimes months or even years, but just in seconds a wrong word which slips out, or simple careless action can so easily destroy it. Why is it so difficult to trust? We have all experienced the pain of loosing trust in others or of losing the trust of others. However, trust is a basic necessity of life. If God is there, who is He? Can He be trusted? When He is silent, is He there? Why has He got the right to require ultimate trust in Himself?

If you would like answers to these questions then come and hear Dimitrina Oprenova.

Dimitrina (Didi) Oprenova was born in Sofia, in communist Bulgaria. She spent her childhood there with the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and being part of the Sofia Baptist Church. She has been happily married to Teodor for 27 years, she has two girls, age 25 (Anna-Margarita) and 17 (Sophia).

Dimitrina became a Christian in her teenage years still during the communist time. She has served God locally and nationally in her own country for over 28 years, also internationally for the last 15 years, speaking at Conferences and Seminars. She has been involved in a number of social projects and ministries, as well as in preaching, teaching, leading and organising Bible studies and different educational courses, projects and conferences in and outside Bulgaria.
