Why run the Hackney Half for team KIDS?

Here at KIDS we really appreciate every individual who chooses to fundraise for us. As part of our fantastic team of runners you will receive:

- A fundraising pack, with personalised fundraising tips & tricks available throughout

- A detailed training plan

- Chance to win a prize in our fundraising competition

- Your own KIDS running vest

In addition, you will receive updates of KIDS work throughout and there will be a member of our friendly team to help you every step of the way.

 All funds raised from the Hackney Half will be going towards our Save Hackney Playground Appeal. Situated less than 3 miles from the start line, KIDS Hackney playground currently supports over 100 local families. Sadly we are at risk of closure and need to urgently raise £100k to keep it's doors open. As the only specialist playground for disabled children in the Hackney area, we really need your help.

Running the Hackney Half for KIDS will not only help us towards reaching our target, but will spread awareness of our appeal throughout the local community and remind people how invaluable this service is.

We’d love to have you on the KIDS' team - you will receive exactly the same support and appreciation that our charity place runners receive, and there is no fundraising target for you!
