"Herbalism is a religion of nature, representing a balance of head and heart"- Michael Tierra~Lily of the Herbs is excited to announce her third Plant Alchemy creation. In this four hour herbal intensive, participants will deepen their organoleptic understanding of plants.~In a wild foraging tour of the local area, we will learn correct harvesting and plant identification techniques.~A light refreshments will be provided. As well as fresh and dried medicinal infusions.~In the second half of the workshop, participants will learn to make a fresh plant succus using Winter greens. We will discuss the cleansing and tonyifying actions of wild herbs.We will then make a vinegar extraction, which is a great alcohol free alternative to tinctures.

Facilitated by Lily of the Herbs. Lily has a background in native plant propagation and permaculture. She has always grown and foraged for her food, and now travels around teaching workshops on herbalism and basket weaving in a tiny house which she built. She is currently studying a degree in Western Herbal Medicine and learning from herb master Greg Written at Goulds' Bronzewing Farm.
