Off Grid Festival 2018

9th- 12th August, Tapeley Park and Gardens, Instow, North Devon

Off Grid Festival is a deep exploration of community, creativity and consciousness. Hosting only 500 people, it is an intimate environment to share skills, knowledge and wisdom.

Four days to celebrate emergent culture. Join our radical gathering of empowered people, committed to changing our world for the better. Off Grid Festival is living experiment for a new paradigm of economic, ecological and community thought. Together, we can make a difference!
Since its revival in 2015 , Off Grid Festival has been educating and informing on how to live a more low-impact off-grid lifestyle. This year sees the return of our unique 12 module 'Resilience College' programme, crafts and tech workshops and hands-on workshops and  demonstrations.

Also on site:

  • Dance to live music with our grassroots music line up
  • Enjoy a traditional afternoon at the Village Green
  • Indulge in relaxation and healing in the Serenity Zone
  • Get stuck into family activities in the Wild Woods
  • Enjoy lively discussion in the Another World Is Possible Forum
  • Hang out in the Village Hall
  • Learn about food growing in Tapeley’s longstanding Permaculture Gardens
  • Visit our Market Place to trade and barter.

Resilient Living is a constant theme throughout the Off Grid Festival programme:
  • Land and Resources
  • Technology and Energy
  • Commons and Human Economics
  • Wellbeing and Community

Between August 9th – 12th 2018 our emerging community will open the doors of perception and glimpse Another World.

Off Grid is a 100% participatory event collaboratively self-organised by volunteer-led crews.
