Self Care for Mums Workshop
Realistic and actionable survival skills to get you through the roughest, most sleep deprived days/weeks/months with young kids.
Tips and tricks for looking after yourself, even when you're not sleeping and are having to do everything one handed.Topics will include:
- Stress reduction
- Coping and calming strategies (for yourself, not baby!)
- Self Care
- Mindfulness and Mindset
- Mum guilt
- Anything else you are struggling with
You are more than welcome to bring your kids along, but with this being a weekend date, it might be nice for you to enjoy some me time and focus on YOU for a couple of hours. That said, let me know if you're bringing a small person along and I can provide some toys for them.
The workshop will be lead by me, Silke Thistlewood, mum of 2 and founder of Nourish to Thrive (www.nourishtothrive.co.uk).
After a brush with PND and anxiety after each baby, and being offered only unrealistic coping tools and prescription medication, I am determined to unearth and share simple and realistic self care and stress reduction skills for mums with small children, that will see them feeling more resilient, calm, nurtured and capable.
As a bonus, you will take home a goody bag including a notebook and pen (which you may, or may not want to use during the workshop!), some healthy treats and offers from local businesses.

The Old Fire Sation is located just off Tonbridge High Street. Follow signs to the castle and the swimming pool and you will find parking at the back of Tonbridge castle just a couple of minutes walk away. Alternatively, it is about a 15 minute walk from Tonbridge Train station.
You will be able to grab a THE best coffee in Tonbridge at the 65mm Coffee downstairs before heading upstairs to the meeting room for your workshop.
