You are cordially invited to join us at this superb event for all London Freemasons initiated within the last five years together with their family and friends over the age of 18 years. Other members of your Lodge are also most welcome.
The evening will be both enjoyable and informative. It will give an insight into Freemasonry with presentations from new and experienced Masons with the emphasis on a relaxed approach. You will also have an opportunity to experience and view the spectacular world famous Grand Temple.
The evening programme will comprise as follows:
Freemasons and guests arriving early are invited to explore the Museum of Freemasonry, which showcases three centuries of masonic heritage. The Museum, on the first floor of Freemasons Hall, will be open until 6.15pm.
Attendees will then take their seats in the Grand Temple, which will be open from 6 00pm, and be entertained with background music played on the magnificent Willis Organ.
At 6.45pm the evening will commence with a welcome by the host VW Bro Ian Wellesley Harding PGSwdB, Assistant Metropolitan Grand Master.
A presentation will follow by W Bro Dr Mike Kearsley, ProvGrOrat (Middx) who will give a unique insight into Freemasonry.
Bro Saif Halim, a dynamic young Mason from Trinity College Dublin Lodge will share some of his experiences since joining the Craft and provide a bespoke view of the wonderful aspects of Freemasonry.
The speakers supported by key members of the MetGL Mentoring Team will then be pleased to answer audience questions.
The evening will conclude with a presentation by Dr Vicky Carroll, Director of the Library and Museum of Freemasonry, on the history of Freemasons’ Hall and how you can get involved in shaping the future of the Library and Museum.
A superb buffet with wine and soft drinks will provide an opportunity to meet and chat to other Masons, Guests, the Presentation Team and senior members of MetGL.
