Welcome to the Digital Ambassadors induction meeting for 2018!

If you are a student or staff member interested in volunteering with the project, please come to our induction meeting on Wednesday 19th September.

Since 2016 The Digital Ambassador project has been helping to improve digital literacy amongst people in the community. As we see everyday tasks like shopping, banking and paying bills move to online platforms, digital literacy is becoming an increasingly necessary life skill. The Digital Ambassadors programme trains volunteers to teach these skills through weekly drop-in classes for the public. 

In this session, you will:

• Learn more about the Digital Ambassadors programme, including the benefits of volunteering with us.
• Get an idea of what you can expect from us and what we will expect from you.
• Get practical information about the drop-in sessions.
• Meet other volunteers.
• Ask any questions you may have.
