Getting to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus

The Imaging Centre for Excellence is situated on The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus and is easy to get to. It is located just a few minutes from the M8 and within a few hundred yards of the Clyde Tunnel. To reach The Imaging Centre for Excellence enter the hospital campus via Govan Road and continue past the Teaching & Learning Centre. Just after the Neurology Building, turn left on to Langlands Drive. The Imaging Centre for Excellence is then on your left. The venue's postcode is G51 4TF.

  • BY CAR
The event venue is accessible by car but parking around the hospital is limited. For delegates unable to find parking on the main hospital site, there is parking available on Hardgate Road near the Queen Elizabeth Teaching and Learning Centre for £3 per day.

  • BY BUS
Details of bus routes for getting to the hospital are listed
here.  First Glasgow Hospital Connect services 34A and 77 directly serve the hospital. Service 90 travels through the campus. Going from the University, the 77 route picks up at the stop across from Botany Gate on the Gilmorehill campus.

The new Fastlink bus route provides speedy links from Glasgow City Centre via the Arc Bridge (Squinty Bridge). At peak times there will be a bus every minute arriving at or inside the hospitals campus. Click
    here for the Fastlink routemap.

  • BY SUBWAY
The Govan Subway station is a 25 minute walk. Buses for hospital grounds are at street level bus stop, not the terminus. The F1, X19 and 26 connect Govan subway to the hospitals.

The hospital is a 25 minute walk from Cardonald Station (just over 1 mile). McGill’s bus 17 and First 34 pass the station and call at the hospital.
