It is sometimes difficult to secure a clear understanding of the information that is being presented at meetings. Effective questioning enables Governors both to gain this understanding and to fulfil their role of holding the leadership of the school to account for the performance and progress of the children. It is also critical in ensuring that the governing board is demonstrating its effectiveness as evidenced in the minutes of its meetings. This session is suitable to Primary and Secondary Governors.
