I want to be just as close as the Holy Ghost is and lay you down on bed of roses” (Bon Jovi, “Bed of Roses”).  There are times when life appears to become a “bed of nails”.  However the Bible teaches, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds” (James 1:2).  Come and explore how this can be; turning pain to praise, and seeing how through severe testing a testimony is borne!”  In Tony Campolo’s words “It’s Friday but Sunday’s coming!”. Dare to believe it!


Ian is a Pastor, Mission Leader, Speaker and Prison Chaplain. From a humble background, God’s grace has revealed the enormous untapped potential dormant in every human being.  This potential becomes realised as we comprehend and accept God’s transforming love. He takes the broken-hearted and weak, “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smouldering wick he will not snuff out” (Matthew 12:20).  This is Ian’s experience!

BY ROAD - Mulberry House is situated on the A414 at High Ongar, Essex. If you are travelling from the M11, exit at junction 7 and follow the A414 towards Chelmsford. Remaining on the A414 pass over three mini roundabouts. The House is on the right, 0.6 miles past the "Four Wantz" roundabout (BP Service Station). If you are travelling from the A12, exit at junction 15 and follow the A414 towards Harlow, you pass over 2 roundabouts and then Mulberry House is situated on your left.
