About this event...

Security and worship should be seamlessly blended for those that worship and those that visit. No place of worship is exempt from crime whether its from an internal member of staff, an opportunistic thief or as a random act of terrorism. In house security teams must consider threats and be ready to respond in a quick, efficient, and effective manner.

Join the Security Institutes Young Members Group on Monday 8th April 2019 for an evening looking at how the iconic and prestigious Westminster Abbey successfully blends security and worship. Following a presentation about how the Abbey manages its security function delegates will then be treated to a tour of Westminster Abbey. At the conclusion of the tour there will be a short Q and A session and then some input on the Security Institutes mentoring programme.

Please then join us for drinks and a buffet at a local pub!
