Sail Training Weekend

Why not try one of our adventure sailing weekends before we set off on our big adventure around the world. Throughout 2019 we will be sailing around the south coast of the UK. Come and explore these beautiful places and learn about our style of cruising.

On our Training Weekends, we will be spending the time getting to know the boat and how she sails, then we will be setting sail into the English Channel along the coast, depending on weather and tide we might head east along the Jurassic coast or sail to the picturesque fishing harbours of Falmouth and surrounding areas. 

Plymouth is a port city in Devon, southwest England. It’s known for its maritime heritage and historic Barbican district with narrow, cobbled streets. In the harbour are several marinas and a fish market. Plymouth has a rich history for you to explore including the Mayflower Steps, where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World in 1620.

Blessed with stunning sandy beaches that stretch for miles along the gorgeous Cornish coastline, Falmouth – located at the southern end of the Fal Estuary, arguably the U.K.'s most picturesque network of creeks & rivers – is a fine example of just how beautiful Britain really is and is the perfect place to lay back and soak up the summer sunshine, enjoy a relaxing stroll or try your hand at scuba diving and snorkelling.

The historic town of Dartmouth is located opposite the pretty village of Kingswear at the mouth of the Rover Dart in the South Devon Area of outstanding Beauty. Dartmouth is vibrant and popular with both sailors and visitors alike with its many attractions and scenic river location, enchanting streets and one of the finest natural harbours in the UK. There is much to see and do whilst in Dartmouth.

Weymouth and Portland is a local government district and borough in Dorset, England. It consists of the resort of Weymouth and the Isle of Portland, and includes the areas of Wyke Regis, Preston, and Melcombe.
