Leeds Castle 5k - Celebrate 1000 days of running

Thursday, September 26, 2019
Leeds Castle, Maidstone, United Kingdom

What you need to know

This is a celebration of running at Leeds Castle. Kent Sports Trust CEO Steve Wolfe and patron Lee Allen have run everyday for 1000 days - that's nearly 3 years rain or shine. Steve has run at least 5k a day, with Lee running at least 10k a day.

Join us, Dame Kelly Holmes, and a host of others to run 5k in tribute to their huge achievement. Leeds Castle is a special location in a beautiful park. There will be a mini event village, music and a unique medal to celebrate the day.

Raising funds for Kent Sports Trust and trying to inspire people to be active, the pair are running a minimum of 5km (Steve) and 10km (Lee) a day for a minimum of 1096 consecutive days.

Save the date now as the amount of entrants will be limited and registrations will be on a first come, first served basis.

Entry will be just £15 with everyone taking part receiving a unique medal.

Note - this is not a timed event, a race or a challenge and is purely to celebrate Steve and Lee's incredible achievement and a great chance to enjoy a run at Leeds Castle.

This event is organised by Sporting Events UK in association with the Kent Sports Trust.
