Spark The Change - Campfire's Winter Gathering

Spark the change that we all know is coming

What you need to know

An ecosystem and conscious community of individuals and organisations committed to creating positive social change together.

This two-day gathering invites all of us - innovators, artists, thinkers, pioneers and new visionaries to share together, creating new relationships and connections within our growing Campfire family. The aim of the weekend will be a chance to be inspired by each other’s ideas and visions for new community and integrated living, as well as find strength together for radical change.  We will hear pitches from our vision pioneers who all have something new and unique to tell, and the winner for the most up voted idea will win a prize. Lively, fun and informative our event - with Circle Team meet ups, new social ideas and innovation and new connections, plus a Sunday night live event featuring music and poetry - will leave you renewed in hope for a better world.

With this in mind, Campfire patron and celebrated artist BRIAN ENO has proposed this innovative project for the Campfire community, which launches the event on Saturday morning.

Eno and Campfire are inviting you to make your pitch in 3 minutes. Ideas can be anything that might liberate people and make the world a better place. Anyone can make a difference and sometimes the simplest, most modest idea can create the most impact, change or inspiration. So, we would encourage you to step forward and think about how to present your idea in 4 minutes and whether it is also relevant to any of the Campfire Circle Teams.

We have a full programme Pdf downloadable from this page

A written pitch of up to 2000 words is also required by the week of the event to contact@campfireconvention.com

Eno's rallying call is prescient: “Disaster sells newspapers, but hope generally doesn’t. The end of an old order is the beginning of a new one. The future is being born. How it turns out depends on us, and what we dare to hope for.”

Eno has detected a need for a platform that can collect and encourage the sort of new social ideas that often go under the radar. He challenges the Campfire community to “bring these ideas out into the open to be tried and tested and improved.”

Campfire Live on Sunday evening is included in the weekend ticket price and will feature music and poetry. Line up features Beth Salmon, Boudicca's Child, Liv Torc, Steve Thorp.

If you would like to join us for Saturday dinner at The Good Heart, spaces are limited and would require buying a separate ticket

Weekend, day and Sunday evening tickets are on sale plus Saturday evening meal at The Good Heart
