LGBT History Month 2020

In conversation with Jordan Daly

Following up on his recent Sound Tracks podcast for the University of Glasgow. we are delighted to host Jordan Daly, alumnus, co-founder of Time for Inclusive Education (TIE). 

The event will be hosted by Professor Roibeard Ó Maolalaigh, LGBT+ Equality Champion, Vice Principal and Head of the College of Arts along with Professor Louise Welsh, who is best known outside the University as an award winning author of psychological thrillers.


Jordan Daly's Profile

LGBT Role Model of the Year at the 2017 Icon Awards and 2018's Young Scot of the Year, Jordan is the co-founder of the campaign group and charity Time for Inclusive Education (TIE). TIE has one aim: to tackle homophobia, biphobia and transphobia with LGBT-inclusive education in schools.  Jordan's experiences growing up as a young gay man, and his feeling of isolation at his most desperate helped to shape the work that TIE does in schools.

The event will be held at a University of Glasgow venue on the GilmorehIll Campus. Full details will be provided on booking.
