As part of the Anthem / Priory Trusts Restore and Recover programme, you are invited to attend a series of 3 Trauma-informed Transition sessions that will support the wider re-opening of your school whilst staying connected to staff, pupils and parents yet to return.

The aim of each one-hour session is to use the Mobilise PLC-model to facilitate professional dialogue and sharing of ideas based on evidence, which can be adapted to suit your school’s context. Attendees must complete some pre-reading that will be sent in advance of each session that will shape the discussion.

Session 1 on 26th June at 11amTrauma-informed Transition – aimed at the member of staff, who leads on wellbeing/pastoral – focus is on the neurosequential model of therapeutics and the 3Rs to support staff and pupils, who may be dysregulated.

Session 2 on 3rd July at 11am – Trauma-informed Staff Wellbeing – aimed at a member of SLT with overall responsibility for staff wellbeing – focus on 6 principles of a trauma-informed approach.

Session 3 on 16th July at 11am – Trauma-informed Behaviour as Communication – aimed at a member of staff from the pastoral team - focus on a restorative and relational approach in-line with ‘connection before correction’.

You will be given access to a follow-up presentation to share with all staff after each session as well as signposts to a number of resources to support implementation.
