Connect Teaching School Alliance
Join us to develop your understanding of geography's core skills and knowledge. Aligned with the 2019 Ofsted framework, this course will support you in successfully leading a subject that: plans with intent; implements with collective expertise and reflective best practice: and constantly assesses for impact.
You will spend the morning exploring how to stimulate geographical learning that is relevant, authentic and progressive in order to raise the standard of teaching and learning in the subject.
The afternoon session will further examine how real world geography engages pupils in their own learning by getting outside the classroom and engaging in a range of quick and easy fieldwork ideas.
Aims and outcomes
By the end of the day you will have a better:
