We would like to take the opportunity to share with you the focus of our first session designed to support schools in the Early Years Foundation Stage Reforms. This will be led by Rebecca Hales, EYFS SLE
This session will develop participants’ mathematical subject knowledge in relation to pattern. It will focus on the importance of pattern for early mathematical development, different pattern types and the progression of pattern awareness. Exploring the pathway children may follow in their mathematical development and providing example learning opportunities throughout the provision.
Audience: Teachers, NQTs, Teaching Assistants regardless of whether they are current Early Adopter Schools or not
