Magdalen is a working organic farm set in the glorious countryside of Dorset & Somerset.  At the heart of our farm is an education centre from which we offer activities and delicious meals.  Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.

This FREE day is open to parents/carers of children who have been struggling with their mental health during lockdown. Parents will visit the farm animals and take part in a cookery activity using produce from our organic vegetable garden. There will be group discussions and an opportunity to develop a network of support.

Lunch and refreshments are included.

This project is kindly funded by Dorset Skills and Learning BCP and aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for families. Through shared learning experiences, families will develop coping strategies to improve mental and physical wellbeing.

Please note that group sizes will be limited due to government COVID guidelines.

Eligible families must live in Dorset and book on to both a day visit and an overnight stay. As the visits are completely free, there is a small amount of paperwork to complete in order to satisfy funding requirements.

Once you have booked onto a day visit, you will be sent a private link to book your family onto the overnight stay.
