The Graduate Employability Workshops were developed by the Glasgow Economic Leadership, in partnership with Skills Development Scotland, and in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian (GCU). The Workshops are aimed at offering an insight into jobs within the Life Sciences industry sector and the range of skills required by businesses for future graduates.
The purpose of these workshops are to help prepare Life Science students by taking them through a journey within life science companies with a view that it gives a much better perspective of potential jobs/careers within the life science community. These innovative events aim to take students through the whole process of product/drug development from initial concept, through R&D, legislation, production and marketing. Through an interactive format and excellent guest speakers, the aim is to inform students about what the Life Sciences industry has to offer in terms of career options.
This programme has been exceptionally successful and beneficial to our graduates.
