Facilitating Language Skills
This session is aimed at EYFS Leads and Teachers, although Phonic & English Leads and SENDCos may also wish to attend. KS1 Practitioners working with children who have a high level of Literacy and/or Speech, Language & Communication Need may also wish to attend.
Within this session we will talk about how having a greater understanding of children’s gaps can be used within our interactions and language enrichment, to create targeted opportunities within our learning environment and our focussed activities. By doing so, we will enable specific skills to be developed, gaps to be closed and interventions to be embedded through Targeted Practice.
