A fun and thought provoking Reflective Reading Club session, taking place virtually via MS Teams once a month. This is an opportunity for you to engage with other colleagues from other wards/departments, sharing your thoughts and experience on a similar topic.

Reflective reading is a valuable skill for your professional development, and for writing the reflective accounts. It is OPEN TO ALL STAFF as it offers tips on how to read and write reflectively.  In this session will be reflecting on different articles every month. Title of the month is:

'Understanding equality and diversity in nursing practice' by Rosie Stenhouse.

This club will earn nurses and midwives a valuable 3 hours of credited CPD time that they can use towards the 35 hours of CPD that they need to acquire for NMC revalidation.  This will include 1 hour reading the article before the session followed by 1 hour written group discussion on MS Teams and 1 hour verbal group discussion at the Virtual Reading Club.
