What you need to know


We aim to:

• To document migration stories and achievements of the black community in the UK, in particular, the post-war African    Caribbean community.

• To inform and educate local communities about the contribution of the black community within the UK

• To encourage tourism within the highlighted places of interest

Suitable clothing

Although the routes are not strenuous, please be aware that surfaces may be uneven and could be slippery when wet. We strongly recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather with warm/waterproof clothing and comfortable footwear.

We recommend that customer bring their own headphones ( with Jack ) to use with our  headsets to follow social distancing guidelines. Don't worry if you forget we can provide disposable earphones. 

We recommend you bring and wear a mask.



Please take care when crossing busy roads and always use the designated crossings where indicated. Please be aware of other road users and pedestrians, particularly by leaving space on pavements for people to cross safely.

Please remember to bring a bottle of water.
