The Masterclass will be run by experienced Wine and Spirits Educator Abbie Bennington (DipWSET)
The Bank Holiday weekend starts here! A special event run in association with EDC.
We will take a look at the history and processes of making gin, why we as the UK are at the centre of the world's gin production. We will learn how to make the perfect G&T together with some classic gin based cocktails with historical significance.
What you will be getting
The Gin Masterclass includes a Premium Gin Tasting (via Zoom) featuring 5 high quality samples with delivery. Ticket also includes the hosting fee and up to 5 hours socialising post event.
Samples include 5 x 3cl bottles of high quality and in some cases unique gins. Each set is enough for 1-2 individuals.
Once you have purchased the ticket ensure you have left the correct delivery address and any delivery instructions where necessary.
Specific gin tasting notes, snack suggestions and Zoom link will be circulated a minimum of 5 days before the event.
In addition guests will need to source 6 simple ingredients see below:
Ice
Lemons or lime (grapefruit optional) 2 minimum
Sugar syrup (simple to make at home or buy from all supermarkets)
Honey
Tonic water (high quality e.g Fever Tree Indian )
Sparkling wine (e.g Prosecco, small bottles can be bought or full size if feeling thirsty!)
Shaker or sealable container

A little about Abbie Bennington
Abbie has a passion for wine and spirits education with over a decade of experience in corporate and private events. This follows a career change as a BBC senior producer in network news. She holds the WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits one of only around 8000 globally.
