Event Privacy Notice

This meeting will be recorded. Please read and be aware of this privacy notice before attending. It explains how your personal data will be collected, used and shared.

The Trust Network (care of Ormiston Academies Trust) act as a “Data Controller” for any personal data that you provide to us. We will ensure that the data given to us is processed in line with Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 18) and the UK General Data Protection Regulations. (UK GDPR)

Why is the meeting recorded?

This meeting is recorded to provide a reference for members and to advance the aims of the network in sharing best practice, exchanging knowledge and providing a voice for its members.

Law Basis for collecting this data.

The lawful basis for collecting this data is by consent. When you attend the meeting you provide consent and agree to the collection and processing of your personal data and to the storage and publication of recordings. 

What personal data do we collect?

Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data.

For the purpose of this event we will collect your name, phone number and email address.

Recording this event means that if you have your picture or video image on screen, these will also be recorded. This includes any information or images contained within your background. If you are aware of anything in your background that you do not wish to be recorded, you can put up a Microsoft Teams background to cover this.

How will we share your information?

This Microsoft Teams recording will be made available to meeting attendees and registered members of The Trust Network after the event, via a private URL on the Vimeo platform. Unless a person is in receipt of the private URL, they will not be able to access this recording.

Attendees will be reminded at the beginning of the session that this event is being recorded, and will have the opportunity to withdraw their consent, by leaving the meeting if necessary.

How long will we keep your information?

The recording of this event will be kept for as long as it is deemed useful in supporting the aims of TTN and will be stored within the TTN archives and on Vimeo. Archives are stored within the UK within the Microsoft Office Tenancy. For details of where Vimeo stores data please refer to their privacy notice. All recordings will be appropriately and securely deleted when no longer required.

What if you do not want to provide your personal data?

You are under no statutory obligation to agree to attend any TTN event that is being recorded. If you do not wish to attend an event that is being recorded, you do not have to. Members of TTN that cannot/ do not want to attend will be given access the recording at a later date.

- Places will be available to members of The Trust Network, members of CST, and invited guests only - on a first come, first served basis
