Magdalen is a working organic farm set in the glorious countryside of Dorset & Somerset.  At the heart of our farm is an education centre from which we offer activities and delicious meals.  Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.

This FREE workshop is open to families living in Somerset who would like to improve their wellbeing as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown. During the workshop we will:

- Make your own pizza which we will cook in a wood fired cob oven

- Visit and learn more about some of our farm animals

- Get hands on in the veg garden to learn more about growing your own food at home

- Learn simple but effective ways of engaging children in the outdoors

The workshop will be set up to promote social distancing and other Covid secure measures. Each workshop will therefore have a maximum of 3 households in attendance.

For lunch you can eat the pizza you make and pick your own salad from the vegetable garden, and/or bring a packed lunch if you prefer. 

This project is fully funded by Somerset Skills and Learning (SS&L), and so there is a small amount of paperwork to completed by each adult who attends.
