Vegan Cupcakes Masterclass- 16 February

I'm Liz and I home bake and hand decorate every one of Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes' delicious cupcakes, giant cupcakes and afternoon teas.

I offer a huge range of traditional and unusual flavour combinations including Madagascan vanilla, black botom and red velvet. I even create cupcakes using foraged ingredients such as meadowsweet and elderflower.

I choose to use organic, local, British and Fairtrade ingredients. As well as regular bakes, I offer gluten-free and vegan options.

I have been running cupcake decorating classes in Eccleshall since February 2012. These small classes provide a lovely fun and relaxed atmosphere where you will learn to create beautiful sugarpaste models and fabulous piping techniques to make your cakes stand out at home.

I have also written a cupcake book and a gluten-free vegan e-recipe book : available on my website.

VEGAN BAKING WORKSHOP - CUPCAKES

Do you share our love of all baking? Why not join us for a fun session learning how to perfect that vegan bake and turn your home-baked treats into wonderful works of art. During the 3.5-4 hour workshop, you'll be provided with everything you need to learn how to create a beautiful dozen vegan cupcakes.

Liz, who bakes and hand-decorates all of our cakes and cupcakes, will let you into her baking secrets and you get to take home a wonderful dozen vegan cupcakes.

What to expect:

• You'll be provided with all the equipment to make a dozen vegan cupcakes
• You will bake your own vegan cupcakes
• Make decorations to top your cake
• Liz will demonstrate the secrets to making perfectly light and fluffy buttercream icing everytime
• Learn to colour and pipe buttercream in two different styles

Tea, coffee and delicious home-baked treats will be provided  

◦Our classes are intentionally kept small (4 maximum) to give you plenty of space and so that you get full attention from Liz throughout
