Volunteer Meeting Point - Radisson Blu Car Park, Jersey, Jersey
Becoming a Super League Triathlon (SLT) volunteer means that you play an essential role in the overall success and safety of the event and without such support from volunteers, the event could not happen.
The two-day event will be taking place on Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 September and we will split volunteer roles into shifts (morning and afternoon). Once you have selected your role, the system will ask you to select the shifts you can do and ask for your volunteering experience.
We are looking for a few different roles to be filled across the weekend:
SLT Age Group Course Marshals
This role is for volunteers who would like to be on the Age Group Race Course. No previous experience needed but volunteers will need to be available between 05:30 - 11:30 on Sunday 19 September. Each section below will be led by a section leader.
RBC Race for the Kids - Volunteers
We are looking for a team of volunteers to support the RBC Race for the Kids (RFTK) which takes place on Sunday 19 September between 11:30 and 15:30. The course marshal position is one of most important and rewarding roles in the Super League Triathlon weekend. Key positions required for the RFTK event:
Run Course Marshals: We are looking for volunteers to help manage the run course, provide direction and motivate participants.
Start & Finish team: responsible for handing out medals and keeping the finish area clear of runners and spectators.
SLT Volunteers
For first time volunteers who would like to get involved in the Super League Triathlon Jersey weekend.
Volunteers for the below roles do not need any experience, just a willingness to give up some time to get involved in a great event:
Crossing Points: managing a pedestrian crossing points and helping with the flow of the general public.
Athlete Retirement: Volunteers to guide athletes off the course.
Event Build, Set up & Break Down Crew: Volunteers to help the event team with set up branding, merchandise and the course layout.
Information Desk: Volunteers required to share general event information
*Please note that you will be asked to select shifts that work best for you on the next page
Once registered, you will be sent all of the information you need and your section leaders will contact you directly. Volunteers should be over the age of 18 on the day of the race or should be part of a recognised group under the supervision of a leader over the age of 18.
UPDATE: Please note that there will be a volunteer briefing on Friday 17 September at 13:00 - 14:00 at the Radisson Blu, and we request that all volunteers attend this briefing.
