Overcoming Perfectionism

Many of us believe perfectionism helps us to excel, however we often don’t consider how our unrelenting high standards can adversely impact our lives. This two-part psychoeducational workshop will develop our understanding of perfectionism, how to recognize perfectionism within ourselves and help us begin to build our own toolkit to manage and overcome our perfectionism while maintaining motivation and productivity.

Please note, while sessions are designed to be an interactive and safe space where participants may wish to share some of their own experiences, they are educational in format and not intended to be group therapy.

We are in the process of developing further mental health workshops and would be keen to hear from you; if you have any suggestions for content you would find particularly valuable, please email suzie.shapiro@glasgow.ac.uk, Mental Health and Wellbeing Campaigns Adviser.

Please note that this course is split over two sessions and you need to attend both:

  • Thursday 4th November: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
  • Thursday 11th November: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
