Welcome Seminar for New Companions (16 Jun 2022)

The meeting is held in a Chapter room prepared in a similar manner to that when you were Exalted. There is no requirement for any pre-conceived knowledge or understanding of the Order - just the memory of that first time you were restored to light!

There is NO CHARGE to attend this seminar. No Regalia is required and the dress code is smart/casual.

The aims and objectives of the seminar are to:

• Review the ceremony of your Exaltation, with an explanation of the ritual,

• Discuss the lay-out of a Chapter, the crypt or vault, and explain the symbols, ensigns, and the banners associated with the ceremony.

• Explain the roles of the Principals, Scribes, and Sojourners.

• Review the regalia used in the Royal Arch.

• Discuss the opportunities and progression for a newly exalted Companion

• Explain the procedures of the festive board.

• Take questions.
