Venue: Zoom session

Facilitator: Sara Feldmann Brummer

Sara Feldmann Brummer

Sara Feldmann Brummer (neé Cluderay) studied singing at Trinity College of Music, before touring the UK singing operatic backing vocals with rock band The Clint Boon Experience, including a live session for BBC Radio One, an appearance at the Reading and Leeds Rock Festivals and UK tour dates supporting Travis and Echo & the Bunnymen.

When Sara's rock 'n' roll years were over, she sang the roles of Olympia, Antonia and Giulietta in a touring opera and circus production, Cirque D'Hoffmann (based on Offenbach's operetta The Tales of Hoffmann). Sara was very happy to be based on the ground during this show whilst her talented circus aerialist colleagues flew high overhead.

Cabaret shows with Ismena Collective and Two Dumb Blondes took Sara to the West End and allowed her to show off her sparkly shoe collection. She also sang at the Don't Tell Mama cabaret club in NYC.

Sara taught singing and Early Stages for Stagecoach Salford and was singing and musical theatre teacher at Pimlico Academy for 13 years. She held the role of Vocal Provision Manager at the Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH) for six years. Sara founded and directed The Young Singers choir at the TBMH and was also Musical Director of the North London Military Wives’ Choir. Sara is a cantorial soloist at Westminster Synagogue and is a member of The Kitchen Quartet, an a cappella vocal group.
