Year 10 and 11 students and their parents, from both Walthamstow Hall and other schools, are invited to find out more about the subjects and co-curricular opportunities offered in Walthamstow Hall's Year 12 and 13 at our Sixth Form Open Evening on 4 October.
The event will be held on site in Walthamstow Hall's dedicated Sixth Form building, The Lang Centre. Heads of Department, supported by colleagues and current Sixth Form students will be on hand to discuss their subjects within their classrooms. There will also be the chance to learn more about the Sixth Form co-curricular programme, leadership opportunities and support including;
- Bar Mock Trial
- BASE - National Business and Accounting Competition run by the Institute if Chartered Accountants in England & Wales
- Careers - including Apprenticeship applications
- Drama - Senior Production, Trinity Drama Awards
- Duke of Edinburgh Silver and Gold Awards
- Enterprise
- House Captains, Prefects and Subject Captains
- Model United Nations
- Music - Orchestra, Senior Choirs and Ensembles, ABRSM
- Q - Life and Study Skills
- Sport - Senior Teams and Sixth Form Clubs/Activities and coaching opportunities
- Trips - including Lacrosse tour to the USA, Ski Trip, Field Trips, 2023 trip to Borneo
- UCAS Team including specialist applications e.g. Oxbridge, Medicine, Veterinary and International
The evening will run from 5.30 - 7.30pm.

Information
Students and parents should make their way to the Sixth Form Centre which is situated at the heart of the campus beside the Science Block.
From the front gate, the Sixth Form Centre can be reached by turning left and following the path around to the right, and taking the steps on the left just beyond the Ship Theatre.
From the main car park, the Sixth Form Centre can be reached by following the path along the side of the Swimming Pool , past the Salmon Wing and then taking the steps beside the Ship Theatre.
