This course looks at how to set up a social
enterprise, and is intended for people who want to think about making a living
that is aligned with their personal motivations. Not the pinstripe suit or
Dragon’s Den side of running a business, instead we will look at the
distinctive nature of values-based businesses with environmental or societal
benefits, as well as the challenges and benefits of running your own business.
The day will include inspirational examples alongside practical advice around core
business functions, such as finance and funding, strategy and getting the right
team.
