The Chilled Cider weekend has become a summer folk tradition after 17 years at Purbeck's Square and Compass. After two fallow years due to Covid, this musical weekend returns in a new venue on the Somerset / Dorset borders.

Expect a lively mix of live folk music, fireside sessions, eclectic DJ sets and a Sunday afternoon ceilidh.

Beloved UK/Australian duo Nancy Kerr and James Fagan will be headlining Saturday night. They are one of the most enduring acts in world folk. Combining stunning vocals and stellar instrumentation on fiddle, guitar and bouzouki with Nancy's insightful and poetic lyrics, the couple have brought joy, inspiration and some memorably energetic arrangements to global audiences for 25 years. Their recent live album "An Evening With Nancy Kerr and James Fagan" shows just how far they have come in that time. Don't miss this chance to see a classic duo giving it everything!

Our site has washrooms, loos, two warm showers, an all-weather marquee and we will have a local fish and chip wagon visiting too. Campfires are permitted on your pitch as long as they are on raised fire pits. There will be a bar stocking local ciders and craft ales.

Arrival will be from Friday afternoon at 2pm. We finish around 6pm on Sunday after an afternoon ceilidh.
